One of my favorite parts of witnessing peoples love is seeing how it makes them better as individuals. Sometimes couples make one another fiercely independent and bring out an undeniable confidence. Sometimes they soften and find solace and peace in the others support. While sometimes they become silly and fun and embrace a unique comfort in who they truly are. I could go on and on with the beautiful ways I’ve seen love set people free to be the best versions of themselves. This was so evident in Catherine and Zach’s relationship.
For this Boulder engagement I met Catherine and Zach in the parking lot at NCAR. Catherine approached in a bright yellow dress that seemed to sum up her personality perfectly. We all hugged and they felt like friends that I would split a bottle of wine with while sharing all the exciting things in life. We made our way into the trees and found a spot where the mountains and sunshine peeked through. It started to rain and I offered to hide out to see if it would pass. They both ensured me they were happy to take photos in whatever. Boy, were they right. Scroll down to see photos straight out of ‘P.S. I Love You’.
During their Boulder engagement I witnessed a bond that Catherine and Zach have with one another that exudes deep trust and friendship. They embrace every ounce of who the other is and seem proud of what they each bring to the table. While taking their photos they had a zest for life and for each other that is quiet and humble at times and loud and boisterous at others. To say the east, I’m a big fan.
