Natalie and Ian reached out looking for a photographer to do a mountain engagement session. They wanted to incorporate their adorable boxer, Rosco, and their favorite beer into their session! After getting to know them a bit, I instantly knew we would be a great fit. They told me about their adventures traveling, living in Australia, helping their friends start and open a brewery, and eventually moving to Colorado. Natalie and Ian are an incredibly adventurous, free spirited couple and were SO much fun to photograph.
We decided a Georgetown mountain engagement session would be perfect for them. This little town has personality and the most quintessential cozy mountain vibe. We settled on a date in early October and arrived to the most magical winter day. Like we were dropped into a snow globe! First, we spent half of their session in town. Georgetown is packed with so many historic buildings and every corner is filled with character. For the second half of their mountain engagement session we wandered through back roads to find a quiet spot. Finally, we found a trail lined with snowy trees to capture those magical winter moments. The snow softly fluttered through the air and we drank dark stout beers.
This snowy mountain town-beer drinking-dog loving engagement session embodied all the things I love most about Colorado winters and winter engagement sessions.
